Summer time means vacations. Vacations often mean hotel or airbnb stays. Even the cleanest and well kept establishment will eventually have a bed bug issue.

After a female is impregnated, it is her goal to go away from the colony to find a quiet place to lay her eggs. The males are inclined to stay close to the nearest food source that is usually found on beds and furniture. But the pregnant female, she may find your brand new suitcase an ideal nest.
